Shiralee Organic Meats
Shiralee Organic Meats is a premium organic butchery and grocery store, located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Shiralee specialises in the finest organic, biodynamic and free-range meats in Australia, offering customers 100% traceability, ensuring it is selling the healthiest and tastiest meat you can eat.
Hi , let me introduce myself – Dave Head – I have been in the butchering business for over 30 years, previously working and managing my father’s successful 26 year business in the Totem shopping centre at Balgowlah.
Since 2003, Donna, my wife and I have followed on that family tradition, moving our Seaforth business to Brookvale in 2013. We now have a new and exciting, innovative Organic Retail and Wholesale butcher shop in Brookvale specialising in meat that is Biodynamic, Organic and Free Range with no antibiotics, steroids or growth hormones.
Purchasing only from top-grade producers in beef, lamb, pork and poultry. Our beef is pasture bred and is hung for a minimum of 21 days ensuring tenderness and taste. Our meat is fresh and never frozen. In order to keep our products so fresh we use Cryovac vacuum sealed packaging. This is a process which removes the oxygen from the packaging – this procedure means that our meat stays fresher for longer! Many restaurants receive their meat this way which means increased shelf life. No more freezing and defrosting meat.
We are always thinking about, exploring and trying out new ideas for our range, and as one of the few butcheries in Australia that provides such a wide range of innovative meat ideas for a quick, easy and delicious meal for you or your family or for that special occasion, we know that deciding “…what’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner…” has just become that much easier.
We are sure you will agree that we supply the ‘healthiest and tastiest’ meat available. We also take great care in choosing the right suppliers, working closely with the Farmers for all of our other products, thus making sure we provide the best of what is available in the market.
